The Power of Positive Thinking: Raise Your Vibration For A Happier Life

Everyone wants to be happy, but sometimes real life gets in the way. People say, "if you change your mindset and focus on positive thoughts, you can create a happier and more fulfilling life" but that's not going to work if you're not feeling the feeling and all you really want to do is slap them in the face.

I'm guessing you've heard the saying "like attracts like".... well, they're right, and it's all about vibration, and good vibrations create happiness.

The law of vibration explained in a friendly and easy-to-understand way.

The law states that everything in the universe, whether a tiny atom, an object, or a living being, is constantly in motion, vibrating at its own unique frequency.

"Someone's energy, or the energy of a physical space or a group of people, isn't something you can see or touch—but it's something you sense, feel, and react to according to author Tanya Carroll Richardson.

The idea behind this law is not only that we all have a specific vibrational frequency but also that we can learn to adjust our vibration if we're caught in a low vibrational experience or scenario. The more you attune to your own energy, the more you see how your vibes affect your entire experience," adds expert Shannon Kaiser

How to use the law of vibration to your advantage:

Thoughts have vibrational energy. If you want to manifest feeling slimmer and fit, but you constantly think about how fat and ugly you are - saying things to yourself such as "I feel so fat, I look awful in these trousers" actually holds the total opposite vibration and could lead to a self-fulfilling prophecy. Change your thoughts, change your vibration.

Tapping into vibrations can also help you figure out how you feel in a situation at any given time. Once you start noticing what feels high and what feels low energy to you—like attitudes, places, and people that feel connecting, healthy, and exciting—it's easier to sense when you are in the presence of high vibes.

Emotions also hold vibrational frequencies, and working with this law can help you navigate them. Think about emotions such as fear and shame; they're negative and have a low vibration. Then think of the opposite, joy and love, very high frequencies.

One point to remember is that there are no bad feelings. When we feel anxious or stressed, this energy wants to move through us and be released. The law of vibration helps us recognise when we're moving through dense, heavy emotions, so we can let them go and maintain a higher frequency.

Nourish your body

Heavy, unhealthy foods can lower our energy, as you've probably noticed after rich meal. Healthy, whole foods, however, can leave you feeling energetically light and not bogged down. Similarly, when we're not getting enough exercise, we can feel stagnant, while a good workout can energise us.

Cut out low-vibrational people, places, and things.

Consider the effect the external world has on your vibration and surround yourself with positive people.

The people we surround ourselves with significantly impact our happiness and mindset. Being around people who are positive and supportive helps keep us motivated, inspired, and focused on our goals. Seek out friends and family who uplift and encourage you, and try to minimise time spent with those who bring negativity or drama. Remember, you deserve to be surrounded by people who bring out the best in you.

The more you practice, the more you'll be able to hold your own vibe steady regardless of outside influence.

Of course, cutting low-vibrational situations out of your life is impossible. But when you do have the ability to do so, avoiding people, places, and things that drain your energy can help protect the high frequency you've been cultivating.
